Before and After: Excess Plantarflexion - Toe Walking | JumpStart Bunny

This before-and-after video shows a young patient who exhibits excess plantarflexion (toe walking). Her excess plantarflexion is improved by wearing JumpStart Bunnys with a posterior strap. The prefabricated JumpStart Bunny provides full wrap-around foot control. The posterior strap cues the patient, reminding her to keep her heel down. Some patients only need this gentle reminder. This brace style is particularly well-suited for smaller patients with fully correctable feet.

Before and After: Excess plantarflexion - toe walking | Carbon Fiber Footplate

This before-and-after video shows a young patient who exhibits excess plantarflexion (toe walking). His excess plantarflexion is improved by wearing Carbon Fiber Footplates under his shoe inserts. The rigid support of the Carbon Fiber Footplates help prevent toe walking by blocking MP extension. This solution is intended for patients with Idiopathic Toe Walking (ITW) who haven’t worn orthoses before or have had issues with compliance.
