This pediatric patient wears DAFO 3.5 orthoses to help control excess plantarflexion (toe walking). The DAFO 3.5 is a custom-fabricated plantarflexion-resist AFO, combining full wrap-around foot control with a leaf-spring style posterior upright that provides graded resistance to ankle movement.
