Cascade DAFO offers different foam for all your comfort needs. But how do you know which to choose? What even distinguishes them apart? Luckily, we have a fast and easy guide to our types of foam and their uses!

ALI - This is our standard foam found on all of our custom braces with integrated wrap-around padding. It is our most durable foam, available in a variety of fun colors! Breathable and soft, it provides comfort and style all in one.

PPT - Our most cushioning and protective padding, all in a little light blue package. Cascade DAFO will offer PPT for spot padding whenever extra comfort and protection are requested for boney prominences or sore spots. It holds its shape well and is one of our firmer padding options, making it especially great for places more prone to pressure.

ZOT - This is our most conforming option, great for areas against the skin that require just a little more cushioning. This dark blue padding is our most breathable, adding comfort with little additional bulk. It’s best for areas that do not receive direct pressure and is a good choice for places of articulation, like ankles.
