Model selection is based on many things, such as presentation, alignment needs, and tone, as well as therapy goals and diagnosis. Our customer support team is here to be a part of your clinical team when planning for patient care, and we are more than happy to help with brainstorming and answering any questions you may have!
Presentation and functional needs will be the best guide. Diagnosis can play a key part in the design process, but should not be relied on alone, as every patient presents differently, and every care team has different goals!
If your order requires optimization changes, alignment updates, or a completely new style, our 90-day warranty has you covered! Wear time is gradually increased over several days while monitoring skin condition.
Mild redness that fades quickly may occur, but persistent redness should be evaluated by a clinician.
Wear time depends on the prescribed treatment plan and patient tolerance.

Longevity depends on growth, wear patterns, and activity level. For pediatric patients, a DAFO is usually expected to last a year before growth requires recasting.
Discomfort should be evaluated promptly to assess fit, alignment, or the need for adjustment.
Minor adjustments may be possible depending on design and clinical assessment.
